Description
From England, this is Columbia / EMI Records SX6214, Don Rendell / Ian Carr Quintet Phase III, an original black label mono promo (there is a sticker on the label stating "factory sample Not For Sale") issue of this exceptionally rare session. The record is in VG++ condition, showing only the lightest of marks, which do not effect the play, keeping it from being near mint. The record plays quietly throughout. The cover shows some ring wear but is otherwise excellent and intact The labels are near mint showing no spindle marks. The original inner sleeve is included. The record has been cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. An excellent, collectors grade copy of this wonderful set.
