Description

Don Cherry on Blue Note 4247

This is the original Van Gelder-stamped mono pressing of Don Cherry “Symphony for Improvisers” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4247.  The playing surface is as new, with a high luster; perhaps played once.  The cover is also in excellent condition – bright and clean throughout – with just a small ding at the lower left corner and a superficial crease at the lower right corner.  Illustrated inner sleeve is included.

Personnel include Gato Barbieri, Pharoah Sanders, Karl Berger, Henry Grimes, and Ed Blackwell.
