Description

Up for your bidding pleasure is a Don Byas 10" Jazz LP Record Album Vinyl. Atlantic LP 117. c.1952. This Don Byas jazz record is in very good condition (see attached photos). Don Byas' saxophone is the predominant instrument in this quality jazz recording. This is some tasty jazz music that I know you will enjoy as much as I did. In fact, I'm listening to it again as I'm writing this. The record has some visual/optical markings and a couple of light surface scratches that do not affect the listening experience. The record and sleeve have a combined weight of 8.3oz. Of course I'll ship USPS Media Mail to save you money unless instructed to do otherwise. So buy it, listen to it, or simply collect it, but just don't miss out on it. I use the Jerry Osborn's Rockin' Records grading system: M, NM, VG+, VG, G+, and G. I tend to grade pretty hard, but if you disagree with me, do not hesitate to return the record for a full refund.

  • ARTIST: Don Byas
  • FORMAT: 10" 33-1/3rpm LP
  • TITLE: Tenor Saxophone Solos
  • LABEL: Atlantic Records
  • NUMBER: LP 117
  • MONO/STEREO: Monophonic
  • COVER GRADE/DESCRIPTION: VG/There is light ring wear and a 2" seam split at the back seam of the front cover. Also, there are corner bumps and edge nicks and chips.
  • RECORD GRADE DESCRIPTION: VG+/It has optical surface marks and light superficial scratches that do not affect the enjoyment of the music. There is very light surface noise that may diminish with a professional cleaning, but no repeat pops. I do not listen to any records that I sell with a $50,000 stereo system. If you would like a CD-type experience, then do not buy this record. If you would like to hear jazz music as it was played 62 years ago, on a recording medium from that time, then this record may be for you.
  • ADDITIONAL: Jimmy Raney guitar, Sven Coolson tenor sax, Hall Overton piano, Keith "Red" Mitchell bass, and Frank Isola drums.

Add this Don Byas 10" Jazz LP Record Album Vinyl. Atlantic LP 117. c.1952 to your fabulous album/record collection before someone else adds it to theirs.
