1971 CBS Distributed Reissue w/ Orange Labels
Originally released in 1967
*Dolly's debut studio album.
*The original 1967 release is considered, and listed, as a rare album, that sells for hundreds of dollars...there are only a couple listed at the time of this listing. One listing is for $200, and the other is for $700; copies have sold for well over $100. With that being said, I believe this release, the 1971 CBS Reissue, to be even more rare. My research: across four different platforms, websites (Ebay; Amazon; Discogs; Popsike), I did not come across one single listing of this copy. That's four massive platforms, four massive databases for vinyl...and not one single copy. I also called one of the most well-known record shops in the world, Grimey's Music, in Nashville, Tn...they looked in the same places I did, and we found only 5 copies that have sold since 2019, the last being in 2020, selling for around $130. As of right now, the best of my research has revealed, I have the only copy that is around, and available.
-Vinyl is in good+ condition. Side 1 has a mild but noticeable scuff mark across it; and, Side 2 has a very light color blemish...I couldn't get a good pic of this, but it's there. Despite these visible flaws, the sound quality is not affected, in any way. The music is still strong and clear...the quiet moments still hold up, and are clean.
-Jacket is in good+ condition, as well; with very mild to considerable creases on the front and back covers; medium wear and rounding on a bottom corner, along with some wear and bending on a bottom seam
To be 50 years old, the complete album is still in amazing shape.
