Description
Dolly Parton – Heartbreak Express – 1982 RCA Victor LP – AHL1-4289
Original 1982 U.S. RCA Victor pressing of Dolly Parton’s Heartbreak Express. This copy has the RCA Indianapolis pressing-plant “I” stamp in the deadwax and an early 1S / 2S lacquer combination.
Matrix / Runout:
Side A: AHL1-4289-A-1S — additional stamped characters including RCA Indianapolis “I”
Side B: AHL1-4289-B-2S — additional stamped characters including RCA Indianapolis “I”
Condition:
Vinyl: VG++ / Strong VG+ — exceptionally clean and glossy vinyl with very minimal signs of handling. Visually approaches NM. See photos for the actual record included.
Cover: VG+ — displays very well overall with strong color and artwork. There is some binding/spine wear with a small split, slight corner/edge wear, and a tiny crease on the front. These imperfections are reflected in the grade and shown in the photos.
Original Lyric/Photo Insert: VG — original double-sided insert featuring lyrics on one side and the large black-and-white Dolly Parton photograph on the reverse. Shows wrinkles/creasing and general handling wear but remains complete and displays well.
Labels: Clean with attractive RCA Victor “Nipper” labels.
Includes the original lyric/photo insert.
A particularly nice copy for a Dolly Parton or country vinyl collection, especially with the VG++ vinyl, Indianapolis identification, and early 1S/2S matrices.
Please review all photos carefully, as they are part of the condition description. Record will be packed securely for shipment.
