Description

Dolly Parton "Don't Drop Out" and "Control Yourself"
This rare 45 rpm record is NM condition except to the minor scratch as shown in the photo.  Therefore I listed it as VG.  It has the date 4/66 written on the label even though this recording was released in March, 1966.  The sleeve shows ring wear and some fading of the light green color.   #45-922 arranged and produced by Ray Stevens.
Please pay for your purchase within three days of winning the bid.  I package items with care to prevent damage during shipping.  I ship USPS with a tracking number and will include insurance upon request.

I use the following grading system for vinyl recordings.  Used records are never mint.  The highest category for used vinyl is NM.  I'm very critical when assessing the quality of a record, although I usually don't play them before listing.
Mint (M) - Looks new and unplayed.  Very high vinyl luster and no noticeable label defects.  This doesn't necessarily mean there is no surface noise at all. Near Mint (NM) - Looks almost new but has some minor flaws (i.e. drill, minor writing on the label).  May have some minor scuffing on vinyl and visual flaws that only slightly detract from the visual appearance.   Very Good (VG) - There may be some light scuffing. The vinyl and label may appear used, but well cared for.  There may be a sticker on the label or more noticeable writing.  Scuffing and minor scratches and/or minor discoloration of the label.  There may be a slight scratch. Good (G) - Visible signs of handling and playing - loss of luster, minor surface scratches, groove wear, and surface noise.  Well used but not abused.  May have a few major flaws such as scratches, label tears, stickers and/or writing. Fair (F) - Well used and somewhat abused.  Audio not great due to surface noise and scratches.  Recording may skip. Poor (P) - Well played, little luster, significant surface noise but not cracked or broken.  Likely skips. Not likely to be listed for sale unless it is a very rare recording.
