Description
Dolly Mixture's double album - Demonstration Tapes, which has been described as "one of the most obscure and collectible records of the punk era".
Limited edition (hand numbered no. 1746) white label and signed by the band (Rachel, Hester, Debsey) who went on to work with The Damned's Captain Sensible (and back him on Happy Talk).
I have owned this album from new, and it has spent its life in the original plastic cover. As a result, the sleeve is in pretty clean condition, although with some blackening and battering along the opening. The pink track listing insert is slightly creased and crumpled at the top. The vinyl, however, is in totally mint condition: I'm not sure that I have ever played either album, or even taken them out of the sleeve.
Trivia fact: this album was bought at (the original) Andy's Records on Regent Street in Cambridge. Since Dolly Mixture grew up and formed their band in Cambridge, Andy's would have been their local record shop.
