Description
This is the original issue of “Bebop Jazz” on Dial album D-1. The three 78 rpm records - 1001, 1005, and 1008 – are from the February 6, 1946 session and are in VG/VG+ condition (VJM grading). The album is in extraordinary condition – bright and clean throughout – with just ¼” wear on the at the bottom right corner and ¼” wear on the bottom edge of the back cover. The three leaves have no splits or wear. The album could have been called “Tempo Jazz Men, featuring Gabriel” since all three records have the same personnel (except for 1008, Side B, which is by the Ralph Burns Quintet). Personnel include Dizzy Gillespie, Lucky Thompson, Milt Jackson, and Serge Chaloff. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL. Please do not bid unless you are comfortable providing credit card information directly.
