Description

These are mint condition copies of Dissection's "The Somberlain," "Storm of the Light's Bane," and "The Past is Alive" on limited edition picture disc vinyl. These picture discs were released in the mid-1990s in small quantities (only 1000 copies each of "Somberlain" [1996] and "Storm" [1995] were produced, and only 500 of "Past is Alive" [1997]). These copies have never been played and are an absolute essential component in the collection of any die-hard Dissection fan. Hands down, "Storm of the Light's Bane" is one of the most amazing, noteworthy, and genre-defining black metal albums ever recorded. "The Somberlain" is not far behind. "The Past is Alive" is a series of recordings from band's early days and chronicles the growth and development of this seminal black metal act from Gothenburg, Sweden.
