Mr. MAGIC
Potential 1980
(Magic Records)
In demand, early hip-hop 12 inch disc from Connecticut’s famed Mr. Magic, Tony Pearson.
Record cover has handwritten tags done at the radio station where it was obtained.
Label has “Domingo” written in black marker on both sides to designate airplay only on Sundays.
Note – I will soon be auctioning the rare and sought after 12 inch Mr. Magic’s Be-Bop Convention hip-hop demo disc, the original pressing in immaculate condition.
CONDITION: I grade for visual, and for playback.
Playback = graded while listening thru top notch studio headphones
Grades are: Near Mint (for store stock - unplayed), VG++ (close to perfect) VG+ (excellent keeper copy)
VG , VG minus, and G (what most ebay sellers award as a VG grade is equal to my G condition).
I do not use the EX grade. EX = VG+ in my strict grading standards.
Visual: VG++ due to side B, I only a few lite hairiine marks that do not sound.
Otherwise, most would grade the disc as mint minus.
Audio / Playback: Mint Minus

The 12 inch record will be packaged in a LP mailer box with square filler pads.
