Description
From 26th October with a very young Joe Cocker on the front page in colour (middle pages also in colour), this piece of pop history features pictures and/or articles on Locomotive/Julie Driscoll writes/Joe Cocker/Full page on the world of fan clubs/Dusty Springfield/Cream in the middle pages/5 pages on the Underground scene with comments from John Peel/Mick Farren's Deviants/Jose Feliciano/Barry Ryan/Jack Good/Ad for Jimi Hendrix's Electric Ladyland on the back page, and smaller articles and/or pics on The Nazz/Jimi Hendrix/Pete Brown's Battered Ornaments/Tyrannosaurus Rex/Boz/The Nice/Mary Hopkin + dozens of other pieces of pop news of the day as well as the UK top 30, top 20 LP's and the US top 20. Also has the latest record reviews, as well as a letters page which I sometimes find very interesting. The crossword is untouched. This issue is bigger than ever with 28 pages and is one of thousands I bought new in the 60's. They've been in my loft and untouched for over 25 years. Apart from slight wear on the opening edges is in excellent condition, although it has very slightly browned with age. Superb condition for a near 40 year old pop mag. I would imagine that most of these would have been thrown out over the years, making this and others I have quite rare. If you have any questions/need more detail etc, don't hesitate to ask. I'll be glad to help. Check my others out. Will be listing loads over the next few months.
