The DirtBombs re-lick a stash of vintage Detroit relics such as 'Cosmic Cars' and 'Strings Of Life' in a fuzzed up garage rock style. Mick Collins and co have been making a scuzzy racket in the bowels of Motor City for over ten years now, recording for Moodymann's Mahogani Music imprint and recording at least eight albums in this time. This time they take on the likes of Cybotron's 'Cosmic Cars' and 'Alleys Of Your Mind', Inner City's 'Good Life', Mayday's 'Strings Of Life', Rolando's 'Jaguar', and even a 21-minute version of 'Bug In The Bass Bin' with modular synth programming credited to none other than Carl Craig!
