Description
EXTREMELY RARE and out-of-print PROMTIONAL ONLY Australian ORIGINAL PRESSING 2-track SEVEN INCH VINYL SINGLE called "KOMM, GIB MIR DEINE HAND" and is 'I Want To Hold Your Hand' and 'She Loves You' sung in German. A-Side label has a Promotional only circular bullet sticker and reads 'SAMPLE RECORD NOT FOR SALE', see picture.
This is the rarest original Australian The Beatles single ever released. Issued in Germany, Holland and Australia only this pressing was released in June 1964 to coincide with the Australian Tour. Understandably it sold well in Europe however the decision to press it in Australia was a disaster as Australian audiences were not prepared to shell out for German language recordings of “I Want To Hold Your Hand” / “She Loves You”, and despite the fact that at this time the group were the bigest band ever. Beatles gurus estimate that at most only two thousand Australian copies in total sold and it is one of only a few of the groups singles which failed to chart in Australia. This original single is a very rare and much sought after item in any sort of playable condition.

Released in Australia on Parlophone Records (Cat# A8117 ) from 1964.
Record is in very good condition and sleeve is in excellent condition.
