Condition; Vinyl: Excellent; Sleeve: Excellent (Paper sleeve - original, some ring wear, No cuts, rips). Photo 1 = Front. My photo may show a bit of flash - (using the Record Collector's Grading system). Solid centre.
Both songs were produced by Tony Visconti, by all accounts. Marc Bolan wrote both songs. The 'B' side is an instrumental. It appears that Marc came up with the Cochran part of the name to acknowledge Eddie Cochran as one of his first influences. There is a lot of speculation over the reasoning behind this recording and also the personnel. There is some speculation that Bowie appeared on it, but it would seem that the actual personnel were Tony Visconti on bass, lead vocals and string arranger, John Cambridge on drums, Marc on guitar and backing vocals, Rick Wakeman on piano and Mick Ronson (new to Bowie's band) came just to watch.
