Description


This is the original Van Gelder-stamped mono “P”-pressing of Dexter Gordon “A Swingin’ Affair” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4133.  The playing surface is in beautiful condition, with just two light and inaudible scuffs at the beginning of Side 2.  The laminated New York 23 cover is bright and clean throughout; light moisture discoloration on the bottom of the back slick.  Illustrated inner sleeve is included.

 

Personnel include Sonny Clark, Butch Warren and Billy Higgins.
