Description
This is Blue Note Records BST 84204, Dexter Gordon Gettin' Around, a blue and white New York USA label, original stereo issue with Van Gelder stamped in the dead wax. The cover has the 43 west 61st St. New York 23 address. This classic quintet session features Bobby Hutcherson, Barry Harris and Billy Higgins. The record is in VG++ condition showing only light superficial marks and playing quietly throughout. The cover has water damage and discoloration on the edges. The original thumbnail inner sleeve is included. The labels are near mint. Even with the damaged cover this remains a fine collector's grade copy of a beautiful original later day Blue Note. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is part of a large Jazz record collection I will be listing over the next few months. Please check our other listings.
