Description

Am selling a lot of weird and wonderful records from my personal collection. This one is:

Artist: Sergio Ricardo

Title: Deus e o Diabo na Terra do Sol

Label: Forma (Brazil)

Year: 1964?

I grade using the goldmine/discogs standard, this one is;

Sleeve Condition: VG+ very clean but downgraded due to a pinch mark on the front top. Loose paper sleeve cover.

Vinyl Condition: VG/VG+ for a 50 year old record this has been VERY well conserved, critical on this record due to it having lots of dialogue and quiet tracks. I think the noise you hear on the clip is mainly static, as the record has no visible scratches. Some scuff marks from removing out of sleeve though.

Soundclip:

Notes: A beautiful collectors piece that accompanies the most famous film of the Brazilian New Wave, directed by Glauber Rocha. A collection of beautiful songs about the unforgiving Brazilian desert, the 'sertão'. Also excerpts of dialogue from the film.

This is the alternate cover (the gatefold edition fetches big bucks in Brazil), not sure if that makes it a second press or not. Vinyl is identical to the other pressing. Yellow label Forma. The 3rd release on the label! Produced by Roberto Quartin.
