Here you have it... the holy grail of any true record collector. 1 of 1 and beyond rare. These are the master acetate / mother plates for Destroy All Monsters' 1979 7", 'Nobody Knows' b/w 'What Do I Get'. Oh, but yes! There is a twist. The 'Nobody Knows' disc has a rejected cut of the song. As if that wasn't good enough, both discs are in amazing condition. Conservatively grading both as EX condition. As with any acetate, there can be a little light static in quiet parts. They are also both in their original manilla sleeves just the way they were stored at the studio Superdisc Detroit, MI, for decades.
Just to be completely transparent, if you look at the last photo, the 'Nobody Knows' disc has a miniscule defect on the edge. Does not affect playback seeing it is on the outer edge and first 3" of the 10" plate contains no music. F.Y.I. not to insult anyone's intelligence, but the grayness you see on the center label of the one disc & unlabeled side of the other is that way because it was coated and used to make the mother plate to press the original record.
