Description
Dennis Wilson and Rumbo, "Sound of Free" B/W "Lady" - the impossibly rare 1970 release by the Beach Boys drummer and Daryl Dragon, 'the Captain' of The Captain and Tennille who was at the time a member of the Beach Boys touring band. This is a demonstration record and is in excellent condition. The vinyl has a beautiful sheen with only the slightest wisps noticeable using a magnifying glass. I have played the disc and it plays beautifully with only a little surface noise evident at times. A gorgeous copy of what was the first solo single from a member of the Beach Boys and it really is a cracker.
This record was never released in the USA, it ony saw the light of day in the UK, Holland and France. The four pronged centre is intact, there is no writing on the labels and the label carries the release date of 4.12.70. As can be seen in the photographs, the A side label has been placed slightly off centre.
Both tracks were recorded in late 1969 for a projected solo album with Daryl Dragon. Neither track is to the best of my knowledge available on CD

Postage: I do not make a packing/handling charge and always try to recycle packaging materials where possible. It is also never my intention to make extra money out of postage but postage costs also include where appropriate, new jiffy bags, cardboard tubes etc.
All items are sent well packaged and I send all UK items via recorded delivery and this is included in my postage costs. The cost to send items via insured/signed for Airmail varies according to the value of the item. If you live overseas I will quote you for both standard airmail and insured Airmail. If any item is lost and has not been sent recorded delivery I cannot be held responsible.
