Description

This is Def Leppard’s major breakthrough 3rd album, Pyromania. This album features then-new guitarist Phil Collen after they fired original lead guitarist Pete Willis in late 1982 for his excessive alcohol abuse. This also marks as the first album to be produced by Robert John “Mutt” Lange. The album was a shift away from the band's traditional heavy metal roots toward a more radio-friendly sound, finding massive mainstream success. Pyromania charted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, No. 4 on the Canadian RPM Album chart and No. 18 on the UK Albums Chart. Selling over ten million copies in the US, it has been certified diamond by the RIAA. The album featured heavy metal rockers such as "Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop)", "Stagefright" and "Die Hard the Hunter" as well as Top-40 hits "Photograph", "Rock of Ages" and "Foolin'". This is also the album which follows a year or so after its release brought the tragic car crash which resulted in member Rick Allen’s arm being lost in the aftermath sometime in 1984.


The jacket is in VG+ condition but shrink is completely missing on the spine and there is minor corner wear. But overall jacket is in great condition. The record is in VG+ condition as well.
