A little general history on my collection…

I was a huge Purple family collector. A few years ago I had nearly it all. Many versions of the same album or single. Now selling off part of my collection to help finance my kid’s tuition. Most of my vinyl has had very few rotations under needle. In the 70s I listened to only vinyl. So my albums from that era will have the most wear. Starting in 1980 I used a linear tracking turntable (impossible for the needle to ever drag across the vinyl scratching it and perfect placement of the needle). I have been using this same linear tracking turntable for over 36 years with a few stylus replacements. From 1980-1988 I primarily listened to cassette tapes recorded from vinyl. I routinely recorded the first play of brand new albums to cassette and played the cassettes. In 1987, I switched to listening to CDs. At some point in the mid-2000s I began listening to music in various digital file formats. Nearly all of my vinyl hasn’t been played since the late 80s.

I am the original owner of this album. Stored and played in smoke free home using linear tracking turnable. I worshiped my Purple family collection and gave it my best care possible.

Price: I price based on various market inputs. I do listen to best offers and occasionally accept them if I can determine the buyer is a Purple fan.
