Selling-up my record collection.

Here is a very good copy of perhaps the most famous live album in Rock music. This copy shows A-1 B-1 matrices.

Cover - Laminated gatefold cover is in excellent condition. When this came to me secondhand, it was in a polythene sleeve, which may well have been on it since it was purchased. It's much more golden than in my photos of it - pictures taken on a dull day. And now it's time to spot every tiny flaw - a little wear at corners of opening. Front and back very slightly formed to shape of the records. A small dent towards lower edge on the back. Very minor wear at opening (front only).

Records - Sides 1 &2 - Excellent. Side 3 has a light fingernail mark on track one, and a surfacey double mark in same area. Side 4 has a little impact half-way through the track. And that's all the faults I could find - pretty darn good.

Little dymo-label initials on 2 labels.

I have been collecting records for 50 years (when finances allowed!), and now it's time to sell-up. I bought them mostly around local shops (second-hand), but sometimes from e-bay, and sometimes new, for my favorite bands. Note that I'm in UK, so records are UK issue, unless I say different.

When I'm checking for damage on records, I look at them carefully with my reading glasses on, in good daylight. This method detects any bits of damage that will affect what you hear when listening to it - and lots that are not audible. Using a spotlight or direct sunlight shows more surfacey marks sometimes, but I don't do that - records are for listening to, not trying to see your face in.

I don't mail things personally, to countries outside the UK, but I am happy to use E-Bay UK's Global Shipping Program, for sending things abroad.

Under this scheme, I send the parcel to an e-bay depot in UK, and they forward it to the overseas buyer.

They have a tracked courier service, for the journey from their UK depot, to the buyer.

This means that I can ONLY accept payments through e-bay (Pay Now button), and I can't send invoices. Combined postage is not possible through the Program.

International buyers should be able to see a postage cost to their country, automatically added by E-Bay, if your country is included in the scheme.
