Description
Deep Purple - Deep Purple in Rock. UK Pressing. Cat No: SHVL 777. Harvest label (no EMI Box on label). Stereo. Released 1970. Laminated gatefold sleeve. Original harvest poly lines inner. Very first UK pressing!
Side 1: I grade the surface as Excellent with mild hairlines and light marks that do affect play. No significant scratches. Great condition and plays beautifully throughout. The label is very clean with mild spindle spidering. The matrix number on the run out is SHVL 777 A-2U.
Side 2: I grade the surface as Excellent with mild hairlines and light marks that do not affect play. The whole side plays without fault. The label is very clean with mild spindle spidering. The matrix number on the run out is SHVL 777 B-1U.
Sleeve: The sleeve is laminated front and back and is graded as Excellent. There are no tears, splits or crease but there is mild edge and corner wear. The wide spine is fully intact and grades well into the Excellent bracket. The original Harvest poly lined inner sleeve has the patent numbers indicating a first press and is graded as Excellent (-) being slightly creased but with no splits or tears.
A lovely example of this iconic album.
