Deep Purple Burn UK 1st Press 'Gramophone' Pecko LP

	£		45
	$		60

Description

A 1st pressing of Burn on the UK Purple label from 1974. Matrix A2/B1. Stamper 1-A/2-GGH. Etching 'Pecko'. Please note, importantly, that this pressing exhibits the text 'Gramophone' at the perimeter of the label. This is indicative of 1st pressing as EMI were in the middle of changing the text from Gramophpone to Emi at the time of release, only the very earliest copies are found with Gramophone still showing. The vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover with title details on two sides [indicative of 1st issue].
Vinyl (Ex+) In superb shape and has clearly only seen the lightest of use. Under close inspection we struggled to make out a single mark. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Interference is almost non-existent, noting more than a couple of crackles the entire way through [literally]. The audio delivered by these early copies defies belief. Great balance and superb tonality. It doesn't get any better than this...
Cover (Ex-) In nice shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. Only light handling wear and nothing remotely noticeable. A touch of edge wear along the top edge - but the text on the spine is still all visible. All colours are nice and vibrant. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A really nice example.

Any purchase is guaranteed to get to you quickly, safely, and with total satisfaction, or your money back.
