Comments: Spectrum was a Laurie subsidiary, for which Lands had recorded earlier.. On the A-side Lands pours his heart into a fine soul ballad. B-side is a superb textbook Northern Soul track – propulsive beat, pumping base, driving horns and to top it off - Hoagy was indeed a fine singer.
Please check my other listings this week, including many other Soul & R 'n B 45's + a dozen hot Latin records.
