Absolute original pressing, NOT a repro.

Matrix numbers:

This is Me-- Etched “SWRC-7731” and “ 87651” with stamped encircled MR logo and (what appears to be a) record logo

The Song I Sing-- Etched “SWRC-7732” and “87651” with stamped encircled MR logo and same “record” logo

 

 

 

 

Vinyl visually grades POOR/FAIR, as there is a 1.5 inch long, tight radial hairline crack that goes through the record from the outer edge to the label, located at about 5 o’clock when viewing the “This Is Me”side (and at about 2 o’clock on the flip side). Record also has an obvious, wavy warp.

 

“This Is Me” side plays STRONG, more like VG+, retains blackness and shine, shows general wear and many light (mostly sleeve-type) scratches/marks...still very enjoyable! The warp may produce light cartridge rubs on this side with certain pick-ups, though  it didn’t seem to be a significant issue for me (using a Denon DP-1200 turntable with stock tonearm and Shure V-15 III cartridge).

 “The Song I Sing” side has more scuffs/marks, and unfortunately the warp causes bad cartridge rubs and mistracking...so this side is POOR, unplayable with my rig. If this side is important to you, please look elsewhere!

 

 

TO REPEAT: This is a record with a CRACK in it, and a warp. It is priced accordingly. The buyer (international or domestic) is expected to understand this.  

This item is only being offered for sale because of its extreme rarity, and because the “This Is Me” side plays particularly well.

 

In case you’ve been looking lately: This is the second (and final) copy of this record I have offered  for sale on eBay. The first copy--which was also cracked--has sold...and the customer was happy with it.
