MINT!!

This is a truly stunning example of this very rare private pressing, issued in very limited quantities in 1979.

What makes this truly special is the condition. The vinyl is MINT(-). It appears absolutely flawless and looks like it was pressed yesterday. Undoubtedly one of, if not the, best example around.

The label on side 1 is MINT,, absolutely no marks of any kind, there is a spindal mark on side 2, and I suspect that side 1 was played once and the record was then put back in it's sleeve and never saw the light of day again.

The cover is in OUTSTANDING condition for this record. Notoriously difficult to get anywhere near excellent, this example is fantastic. There is a very limited amount of dirt and wear, but on this pure white unlaminated sleeve it is the best I've ever seen. The homemade paste on designs look like they were made yesterday indicating the outer sleeve may have been a little bit dirty even before it was used. This LP was kept in a plastic wallet since new.

The LP also comes with two of the extremely rare inserts (one double sided), these are also in excellent condition.

This is undoubtedly one of the best examples in existence of this LP.

Unusually I have placed a reserve on this item as I just don't want to let it go for less.

Anybody who knows me will know I don't use a MINT(-) grading unless it appears new, which this one does.

I use the record collector grading system when grading records with the addition of a + or - when appropriate in order to give the most accurate description possible.

All records are visually graded in normal light and under artificial light to ensure the item is correctly advertised and surface marks are not missed.

I have 15 years experience of collecting and grading records and as such do as much as possible to ensure buyers are happy with their purchase.

MINT

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.The cover and any extra items, such as the lyric sheet,booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc.

FAIR

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR

The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD

The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.

NOTE - The gradings above differ from 'Goldmine' and other publications grading systems so please read before bidding.

Some of the items that I offer will be play-graded, but some will not. Therefore if the description does not state the record has been play graded then it has not been so. All play-graded descriptions will be based on how the vinyl sounds on my system.
