These are single sided Decca test pressings recorded in 1956 (mono). Mendelssohn Violin Concerto. Campoli, LPO/van Beinum. Matrix# ARL-1962-1D. Second record, Bruch Violin Concerto, Campoli, New Symphony Orchestra/Kitsch. Matrix# ARL-809-4D. Visually both records are in stunning near mint condition. Audibly there is occasional very light surface noise but no repetitive ticking. The violin has remarkable presence and the overall recorded sound is beautifully clean. As test records there is no sleeve. Alternative sleeves will be used for shipping.
