Up for grabs we have a mint- condition copy of Dead Kennedys 'Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables' LP UK mispressing. The first pressing of the album is a mispressing, the Ʊ refers to these copies being pressed at the Utopia pressing plant.
The master tape was running too fast and the low frequencies are missing, making it extremely rare and highly sought after by fans of Dead Kennedys. These first copies can be identified by the following details on the matrix runout area:

The rear of the sleeve features the yellow background with the heads of the artists of the lounge band 'Sounds Of Sunshine' in the photo present, (these were swiftly removed after a threat of legal action), the track ‘Kill The Poor’, isn’t mentioned, it comes with the original Cherry Red Records printed inner sleeve, with details of the labels other releases. It also comes with the original large double sided poster, making the package complete.
Condition:
Sleeve: Mint- (absolutely superb condition, no marks, crisp corners and straight spine, free from creases or seem splits) Inner: Mint - (superb, clean and free from creases or seem splits) Record: Mint- (aside from a few spindle marks, the vinyl has a lovely shiny sheen, looks and plays terrifically) Poster: EX+ (It has been opened a few times to examine and photograph but has never been displayed on a wall, so is free from creases, pin holes or blu tack marks)
A truly fantastic copy of this seminal punk rock album, you'd be hard pushed to find better.
This item will be well packed with the vinyl disc in a plain generic white sleeve, placed below the album cover itself with card stiffeners to prevent seem splits or creases in transit to ensure it arrives safely.
