Description
This is the last weekend of my Bowie collection and here is the pinnacle of my collection, The Man Who Sold The World - Dress Cover version.
This is one of the most higher end sales on eBay for this magnificent album that simply just gets better and better the older it gets.
This is not a fake, this is the real deal and one photo clearly shows this to be true, the correct amount of clock can clearly be seen on the mantlepiece.
I have stored this entire album (as all my others) in the attic out of direct light and in a box, the sleeve has a cardboard insert to keep the sleeve slightly expanded and to remove the potential of ring wear and the record itself was stored in the same box but not in the sleeve.
The sleeve is in excellent plus condition, there is very very slight edge wear on the spine side and very little on the lower and upper edges, all the text on the spine is visible and easily readable including the lower serial number. The text reads from top to bottom.
The inner sleeve is slightly discoloured, i could easily have supplied a better one but for me that would detract from the originality of this much sought after album
I have once again sat and listened to the brilliant lyrics and wondered why i am actually selling this, but, needs must and so here it is for sale, there are no pops or clicks and absolutely no jumps during playback, Tonny Visconti is incorrectly spelt on the labels. The correct letter P is circled beside the date of 1971 and the serial number of 6338 041 is also clearly shown. The sheen on teh record is virtually as it was when it was sold from new.

You will be hard pushed to find a better example of this album, this album often appears for sale, but, very rarely in this condition
I could prattle on about this album, but, if you're a true Bowie fan you'll know the importance of owning this classic, this is the one to replace the one you already own to make your own collection that little bit better. This album used to sell on eBay for around £500 but times have changed, however, i will start a low price and no reserve.
Postage is set at £6.75 to your door and this is take into consideration the actual correct insured postage and the fact that it will be packaged expertly to avoid any potential damage, the record and sleeve will be seperated with the cardboard insert inside the sleeve, if it sells for more than £450 i'll post for free.
If you purchase more than one item from this Bowie sale i will combine postage.
