I am currently auctioning off some my own personal collection of LP's that I have collected over many years. I will try to be as accurate as possible. Having said that, if you need any more information, contact me. I play check all my records on my vintage Toshiba record player. Oh and please don't ask me to end the auction early.
David Bowie super rare Self Titled LP from November 1969, UK 1st Pressing with a 1Y/2Y Matrix. All in Excellent Condition.
GENERAL NOTES:
Illustrated gatefold cover with lyrics inside, black labels with silver print.

SBL 7912 on sleeve, SBL.7912 on labels.
Track A2.2 is not listed on either sleeve or centre label. This 'hidden track' was edited out of the 1969 US Mercury edition of Man of Words/ Man of Music and subsequent RCA reissues.
On the labels this version lists all publishing to Essex Music Intl. Ltd.

The heavy set 1969 vinyl is in absolutely excellent condition and is still bright & shiny looking. It is one of the best copies that I've seen, a real gem. The vinyl has a few faint surface marks. There is certainly nothing feelable. I have played the record through in it's entirety and could only hear a few brief moments of the faintest crackles and static between and during some of the tracks, and a few brief ticks in some of the quieter moments, that was all. This really did not detract from the overall sound of the record. Certainly no more than you would come to expect from any vinyl of this period.
The labels are both VG to excellent, side one label is excellent, showing little wear. Side two is marked in a few places, looks like it may have labels which someone as removed, then coloured in (see photos for close ups of each).
I think this is the original inner sleeve, and it is in excellent condition, with only a tiny rip around hole in the centre.
The original gatefold cover, is overall in VG+ to excellent condition. This cover is nearly always worn because of the design and it not being laminated. The cover has some minor overall wear. There is some spinal wear, with all the words being legible but a bit worn. There are no splits and minor corner wear. There are no rips or tears. The opening edge is fairly straight with no real major deterioration.
