Description

LOW a 1st pressing from 1977 on the UK RCA label. Matrix A1-B2. There are numerous catalogue numbers crossed out in the deadwax area. Let me know if you need them detailed. But this is a genuine 1st pressing of LOW with 'STERLING' stamped on both sides and importantly the '..from Master Recordings' white text at the foot of the label. The record comes housed in an original Garrodprint Ltd cover with the 1st issue track listing sticker on the rear. Also included is the original white inner with track details.
Vinyl (Ex-) Looks to have only seen reasonably light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks here and there - but nothing troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT- level of playback. The audio comes across well with only minor interference occasionally [e.g. Sound & Vision]. These Sterling pressings do have great warmth and allow for a fantastic rendition of this Bowie classic. Not a perfect copy by any means, but one that in reality is not that far short of excellent. Please note - The raised areas on the side 1 labels are not caused by everyday use..they would have been caused during the manufacturing process [see countless others examples with an identical issue].
Cover (Ex-) Again, has been well cared for. Some light signs of use, but nothing that really stands out at all. Edge wear is light and the text on the spine is still visible. Overall the cover maintains excellent rigidity and very much belies it's 40 years of use.
Inner (Ex) Barely a mark really. No tears. Excellent condition.

Any purchase is guaranteed to get to you quickly, safely, and with total satisfaction, or your money back.
