This 1997 LP was more successful than it's predecessor "Outside" but still not a huge seller like some of Bowie's earlier LPs. I don't know why as it's still a great LP and with tracks like "Little Wonder" and "I'm afraid of Americans", what's not to like? The track "Telling Lies" was also the first downloadable track by a major artist.

Vinyl is EX- due to some noise in places (mainly noticeable between tracks). Perhaps more on Side1...it is still a very playable copy ...it just can't be described as pin drop quiet. I have had other copies of this LP and they have also been noisy to some degree. The length of this album (approaching 50 minutes) is possibly a reason for some of the noise issues, as the LP cannot be cut at as high a volume as shorter LP's.

The LP has been cleaned on a professional record cleaning machine and play graded on a Linn LP12 turntable with an Ortofon MC30 cartridge.
The cover is EX- and has no fading or ringwear, with just a couple of very minor creases, a minor rub of around 2mm on the bottom seam and a little ding on the upper right corner. A nice condition cover, with a nice shine to it, which makes the saturated colours of the artwork really pop. The lyric inner has a seam split on one side due to this LP not being issued with a paper inner sleeve.

This LP is now extremely hard to find, especially in this condition. It is not seen very often and is usually snapped up quickly!

Feedback from buyers is that I understate the condition of LP's I sell and a recent comment stated that "records were in MUCH better condition than described".  I play grade all the LP's I sell and my system is very revealing - and you may not notice some of the "issues" I refer to - however I will always give a 100% accurate description of the item you are looking at.

Please check for shipping cost as I am based in New Zealand. The item will be securely packed in an LP mailer with cardboard stiffeners for protection, and I can pack the LP outside of the cover to avoid seam splits.
I do not charge a handling cost - only the cost of getting the LP from New Zealand to you via Airmail (again please note that shipping cost will probably exceed the $4.00 USD shown in the listing , as I am based in New Zealand.)
