Description
You're bidding for an extremely rare pre-release LP copy of Bowie's Alladin Sane with temporary sleeve, only issued by RCA Italy in 1973.
RCA wanted to release the record before the album art was ready so in order to speed up the release as much as possible it issued the record with a temporary sleeve which could be traded in for the final one. Obviously anyone eager enough to buy the pre-release was eager enough to trade it in for the proper sleeve so extremely few of these remain in existence, and some of them have been sold in the past at insane prices.
Plain white sleeve with the name of the artist and album title as well as "RCA Victor Stereo DLSP 4852" written on the front.
Cover conditions is VG+, with come obvious ageing/yellowing on paper and some wear on opening edge side.
Record is NM, with absolutely NO scratches. Just some minor light scuffings.
