Description
David Bowie Aladdin Sane first press gatefold sleeve vinyl record from 1973 complete with lyric picture inner and fan club membership folder cat no RCA RS 1001 & matrix nos. 4543-3T/4544-3T. Recorded graded at a strong very good+. Vinyl exhibits a few fingerprints and very light/superficial paper scratches but plays back exremely well with just some slight crackle inbetween some of the tracks.I would grade the playback as being very good+. The gatefold sleeve remains in very good condition with no major faults other than small areas of slight grubbiness and minor edge & corner knocks. Further, I did not notice at first but upon tilting into the light it is evident that a previous owner has used the cover of the record to lean on to write a letter and slight intentations are therefore present on the front cover. The spine remains in excellent condition. The inner sleeve exhibits slight edge and corner wear but no major faults and certainly no tears or creases. The fan club membership form is still intact and has not been written on, its only downside is a small area of slight yellowing/discolouring on its top left hand corner. All in all a very strong example of a complete first pressing of this classic work by Bowie.
