Description

This is an extremely rare acetate demo recording of David Bowie's "When I Live My Dream" - which featured on his debut album "David Bowie" (1967).

Cut for Essex Music Group publishers in late 1966 it is a two-side acetate featuring the same track on both sides (only one side is labelled).

The record is in remarkable condition for an acetate given its age - no skips or jumps on either side, no chips or vinyl flaking off. The sound quality of the labelled side is good to very good, while the other side has experienced a bit more deterioration but still plays ok overall.

This is a collector's item however and as such should not be played regularly.
