This is the first pressing of The Pink  Floyd album the Dark Side Of The Moon with solid blue triangle label and very dark blue outer cover. It comes complete with 2 posters and Black Inner Sleeve. The outer sleeve is in ex+condition with only slight spinal wear (see pictures)

The Vinyl is in near mint condition and this record has only ever been played on audiophile equipment at 1g tracking force (Shure V15 variants in SME 3009S2 arm.) It plays with only very minor occasional surface noise and there are no audible signs of wear or major "ticks" or "pops". There are no scratches or marks visible to the eye. There are extremely light (almost invisible) spindle marks only.

This is not a "cleaned-up for sale" record, it is part of an enthusiasts collection and has been meticulously cared for with no finger marks or scuffs!

The inner sleeve is new.

The posters are near mint.

The original stickers are missing, but I can supply brand new ones taken from a copy of the anniversary edition if required.

The film "Zabriskie Point," a study of American materialism from a foreigner's perspective, provided "Us And Them" (originally titled "The Violence Sequence"). Waters rewrote "Breathe" after its appearance on his and avant-garde composer Ron Geesin's score for "The Body," a surreal medical documentary.Floyd and their long-time engineer, Alan Parsons, used a multitude of sound effects--from stereophonically-projected footsteps and planes flying overhead ("On The Run") to a roomful of ringing clocks ("Time"). Further adding to the record's mystique, barely audible spoken passages were sprinkled throughout--a result of hours interviewing random Abbey Road occupants about their views on insanity, violence and death. Floyd must have struck a nerve; DARK SIDE OF THE MOON remained on Billboard's albums chart for an astounding fourteen years. It made Pink Floyd a household name, elevating them to the level of the Rolling Stones and The Who in the rock pantheon.

From looking at other listings for records, it seems some people rather exagerate what they believe "excellent" condition means - there are other listings for this album and it is clear from the picture of the sleeve that it shows lots of marks and creases, yet still described as "excellent"!  To be clear, the sleeve on this copy is really as good as it looks in the pictures. This is because it has been kept in a high grade plastic protection sleeve from new and was stored upright with my other records in proper shelving built specifically for the purpose. It shows only minimal signs of wear from taking the record in and out to play and even that was done carefully.  

The record itself is also as immaculate as described and I truly believe this is one of the best examples you will find of this rare pressing, unless you can find a brand new one that has never been played and shrink wrapped from new, which would be as rare as hens teeth !!
