So I’ll take this with a grain of salt, being that I’m involved with the recovery community and while it can be literally the most beautiful thing in the world, if you aren’t actively partaking in it, it probably won’t be.


I say that to say Danny Brown has some sober time under his belt! And truly, good for him. That’s incredible. At first, I didn’t think Danny Brown without narcotics could, well, work. But alas, like every addict / alcoholic who gives a tireless effort to change their lives, it does work. It works better. You work better. Life is better. So, congrats Danny Brown and I will send out my positive ‘stay sober’ vibes whenever the thought crosses my mind.


Why the h3ll am I saying this stuff? Well, only because I heard him being sober kinda translates to the way his music sounds. Whoa! This isn’t an uncommon phenomena, but an interesting one in the case of Danny Brown. I haven’t listed to my copy yet because I barely have time to turn the power on my record player on but I’ll get there. You gotta get it to get it, I maybe heard a wise man say once but probably not at all.


I’m looking forward to listening to this new, hopefully still goofy as all get out sober or not, Danny Brown and you should be too. After that, you can buy this sealed double LP and admire some white vinyl and a man who changed his life after being dependent on substances for years. That was probably (not probably, it was) not even somewhat easy.
