Australian issue of Duster Bennett's classic 1968 debut album which came out in England on Blue Horizon
Bennett was a remarkable musician, songwriter and performer.
He is heard here in a one man band format where he sings, plays guitar, harmonica, bass drum and high hat cymbal.
One of life's great joys for me was seeing him do this live. Definitely not a novelty act - this is plain great music.
On some tracks he is accompanied by three members of the original Fleetwood Mac. Peter Green guitar, John McVie bass and Mick Fleetwood drums.
Of the 12 tracks Duster wrote 9 and 3 tasty covers of Jimmy McCracklin "Shame Shame Shame" Magic Sam "My Love Is You Love" and Juke Boy Bonner "Life Is A Dirty Deal" round things out nicely.
Peter Green fans will note the original version of Bennett's "Jumping At Shadows" is included here.
Other tines include: "Worried MInd", "Got A Tongue In Your Head", "Shady Little Baby" and the blistering instrumental "Country Jam".
Cover show a bit of ageing and minor satins on the back.
Record is in truly excellent condition and plays loud and clear.
