DUKE PEARSON “Wahoo” RVG, Blue Note 4191 Mono Vinyl
This is the “VAN GELDER” stamped, pressing of DUKE PEARSON’S “Wahoo” on the "New York” labels of Blue Note BLP 4191.
VINYL plays very well, with light surface noise, pops and ticks. Ensemble sections are very dynamic and clear. Noise more evident in ballads, of which there are three ballads. No Skips. No locked grooves. No distortion. Very Good gloss. Clean surface with only a couple of non feelable hairline marks. The “New York” labels are clean. See photos.
COVER is in good shape, corners worn. Lower seam and spine in excellent shape, top seam shows small splits and cracks. Back jacket printed upside down, but clean with minor ringwear! Please see photos.
