Description

You are bidding on a rare, original, vintage, jazz, 10", LP record album, from 1955 by Miles Davis, entitled,  "The Dual Role of Bob Brookmeyer featuring Jimmy Raney", on the Prestige record label, #PRLP 214.  This is the original pressing with the yellow Prestige labels with black print with the address, "446 W. 50th ST., N.Y.C.", on both label sides.  Also, "RVG" is etched in the trail-off vinyl on both sides.  The labels are in excellent condition with the exception of the name, "CLARENCE JACKSON" being stamped in red letters, three times on each label side.  The vinyl is in beautiful, and could be called awesome, condition.  The A Side has a small area of the faintest of scratches visible only when examined under intense light and tilting the record back and forth and mentioned only for the record collecting perfectionist.  The jacket is in fair condition with light, general edge, corner, and surface wear.  The bottom edge is split all the way across.  There is light and some moderate soiling against the white background on the front and back covers.  The back side cover has the name "CLARENCE JACKSON" stamped, in red ink, in seven places. There is a 1/4 X 1/4 X 1/4 inch gouge taken from the liner note paper on the back side cover on the right edge at the middle.  The top edge of the liner paper on the back side cover has a five-inch fold over on the title.  This is a 3-day, no reserve sale.    Please see the detailed photos.
