Tremendously rare Norwegian psychedelia featuring a young Terje Rypdal on vocals. I bet none could beat this posse in terms of coolness and attitude in Oslo back in the 60’s. This record was most likely played to death at the wild parties during the summer of love and is pretty much impossible to track down in perfect condition today. This copy is no exception to this, but I guess it could serve as a filler, until you patent your time machine in search for an unplayed copy of this beloved psych artefact.

COVER; the laminated cover shows wear round the edges and the spine is split. There some significant creasing and a little tear at the opening. Rather nice for this cover, but gets a POOR-grading, much due to the split at the spine.  

VINYL; the vinyl shows lots of hairlines and thin scratches under strong light. Looks much better in normal light. It plays with constant crackle, reminiscent of a fire in the woods. No skips and no loud pops. It gets a GOOD-grading as a whole.

LABELS; both labels are surprisingly clean with just a little rubbing at the centrehole. No spindlemarks. (This copy was found by me in a bargain bin with the vinyl naked behind the cover.)

I use GOLDMINE GRADING STANDARDS – MINT/NEAR MINT/VERY GOOD PLUS/VERY GOOD/GOOD/POOR. The grading MINT (M) is hardly ever used - and at that umcommon occasion - NOT used improperly. NEAR MINT (NM) means NEAR MINT both visually and audible! VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) is the same as EXCELLENT (EX) in other grading systems. My ambition is to provide an as accurate description as possible and I do not try hide any defects or other flaws on the record and cover. GOLDMINE GRADING STANDARDS

MINT ---- It should appear to be perfect. No scuffs or scratches, blotches or stains, labels or writing, tears or splits. Mint means perfect.

NEAR MINT ---- Otherwise mint but has one or two tiny inconsequential flaws that do not affect play. Covers should be close to perfect with minor signs of wear or age just becoming evident: slight ring-wear, minor denting to a corner, or writing on the cover should all be noted properly.

VERY GOOD PLUS ---- The record has been handled and played infrequently or very carefully. Not too far from perfect. On a disc, there may be light paper scuffs from sliding in and out of a sleeve or the vinyl or some of the original lustre may be lost. A slight scratch that did not affect play would be acceptably VG+ for most collectors.

VERY GOOD ---- Record displays visible signs of handling and playing, such as loss of vinyl lustre, light surface scratches, groove wear and spindle trails. Some audible surface noise, but should not overwhelm the musical experience. Usually a cover is VG when one or two of these problems are evident: ring wear, seam splits, bent corners, loss of gloss, stains, etc.

GOOD ---- Well played with little lustre and significant surface noise. Despite defects, record should still play all the way through without skipping. Several cover flaws will be apparent, but should not obliterate the artwork.

POOR ---- Any record or cover that does not qualify for the above "Good" grading should be seen as Poor. Several cover flaws
