DOUGLAS WARD: From An Elevated Platform * RARE WEIRD OUTSIDER LP

Forward Music Productions FS1001, Great Britain 1971

Fantastic vanity/private lounge LP by the one & only Douglas Ward, a musician who played the British cabaret scene in the late 60's/early 70's. Great funky vibes with strange lyrics about "Duggie's" journeys to his own mind. Songs include "Lonely In My Mind", "Welcome To My Mind" (which was featured on a "Cool & Strange" sampler CD), "Introspection", "Neophyte", "In The Land Of The Cuckoo Clock" and others. Only original compositions! (Got my own copy from Stéfan Kery of Subliminal Sounds, who also loves this record.)

VINYL: vg+ / SLEEVE: vg+
