RARE UK first pressing of Doug Sahm`s debut solo album, "Doug Sahm And Band" on Atlantic Records (January 1973). Produced by Jerry Wexler, Arif Mardin and Doug Sahm. Cover art by Gilbert Shelton.
Bob Dylan sings lead vocals on "(Is Anybody Going To) San Antone", vocals and guitar on "Wallflower" and "Blues Stay Away From Me", as well as playing the harp on "Me And Paul".

GRADING:
MINT- COVER, carefully stored away for many years. Please see photos for details.
- Unlaminated UK sleeve, well looked after with minimal storage wear only.
- One or two minimal creases and a tiny dent to spine.
- One or two small scuffs to the bottom edge.
- Vintage 70s store sticker on back cover (at top right).

MINT(-) RECORD that looks practically unplayed. 
- Perfect vinyl on both sides, with impeccable audio reproduction throughout.
- Visually pristine record, with no hairlines, scuffs or other signs of previous play at all.
- Original Atlantic Records labels with a single, near-invisible spindle line on each side.
- The matrix stamps in the run-off grooves read "K40466 A1" on Side One and "K40466 B1" on Side Two.  
- This copy of "Doug Sahm And Band" is certified to be a UK first pressing, issued in January 1973.
