Doug Randle Orchestra w/ Elan Stuart, vocalist b/w Doug Randle Orchestra w/ Doug Crosley, vocalist – Transcription, CBC Radio Canada, LM-30, Mid-Late 1960s.
Rare Canadian/broadcast-only vocal jazz LP (mono) recorded in Toronto and pressed in miniscule numbers (never sold commercially at the time of issue). Early LM (light music) titles are virtually extinct/off-the-radar of most serious collectors, and most importantly, heavily enjoyable spins for fans of sunshine pop, vocal jazz, and soft jazz groove. Comes w/ stock CBC Radio Canada stock soft 12” sleeve. Deep cuts from the incredible Doug Randle (who later recorded his Songs For The New Industrial State for CBC), including a killer take on the standard “Out Of This World” (as covered by The Mutual Understanding).
