Mint (codice: M)
Assolutamente perfetto. Il disco può anche essere ancora sigillato (ove indicato) o, in caso contrario, non è MAI stato suonato.

Near Mint (codice: NM)
Quasi perfetto. Il disco  non riporta nessun segno di usura, neanche sulla copertina. Il disco è stato ascoltato POCHE VOLTE. La qualità del suono è perfetta: non ci sono rumori di fondo. In alcuni casi è possibile riconoscere dei segni sottilissimi sulla superficie del vinile; in questo caso i dischi saranno etichettati Near Mint Minus (codice: NM-) 

Very Good Plus (codice: VG+)
Il disco è in buone condizioni ma presenta dei segni dovuti all’uso del precedente proprietario. Tutti i vinili con questa valutazione sono stati suonati più di un paio di volte. La superficie del disco può presentare segni superficiali e piccolissimi graffi, che influiscono in modo minimo sulla qualità del suono. Copertina ed eventuali inserti buoni ma non perfetti.

Very Good (codice: VG)
Tutti i piccoli difetti che si possono riscontrare nei dischi etichettati VG+ sono più marcati in questa categoria. La qualità del suono diminuisce ma il vinile è assolutamente nelle condizioni di essere suonato e ascoltato. ATTENZIONE: molte volte i difetti visivi (graffi, segni ecc) NON si riflettono sulla qualità del suono: il disco, quindi, può sembrare “rovinato” ma in realtà la qualità del suono è più che accettabile. Qualora i segni sul vinile o i difetti della copertina siano più marcati i dischi saranno etichettati Very Good Minus (codice: VG-).

Good Plus (codice: G+) e Good (codice: G)
Un disco con il marchio G+ può essere tranquillamente ascoltato senza salti o grossi difetti di sorta. Il disco è stato suonato molte volte. I rumori di fondo saranno più marcati ma, come dicono gli inglesi, “Good does not mean Bad!” ("Buono non significa Cattivo!"). La copertina presenta pesanti segni di usura.

Fair (codice: F)
Disco ascoltato moltissimo. A volte il vinile avrà un particolare difetto che incide sulla qualità del suono. Può capitare che la qualità del suono rimanga a un buon livello anche se il disco è molto danneggiato. Copertina ed eventuali inserti con notevoli segni di usura, come pieghe, strappi o scritte.

Bad (codice: B)
Disco, copertina ed eventuali inserti in pessime condizioni.

Copertina Generica (codice: CG)
Disco senza copertina originale, inserito in una busta bianca.
