On offer here is a very VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Doors called 'The Doors' and is a MEGA RARE UK pressing!!!! THIS IS A MASSIVELY RARE LP AND EXTREMELY SOUGHT AFTER!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS ONE THE RAREST (IF NOT THE RAREST) PRESSINGS EVER MADE OF THIS LP!!!!  I WILL EXPLAIN.  IN 1967 THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED ON THE ORANGE ELEKTRA LABEL WITH BLACK WRITING.  NEARLY ALL THE SALES OF THIS DOORS 1ST LP TOOK PLACE ON THIS 1ST PRESS LABEL AND 99% OF ALL 1960s DOORS PRESSINGS WERE MADE ON THIS LABEL.  HOWEVER IN 1968 ELEKTRA CHANGED THEIR LABELS SLIGHTLY FROM ORANGE WITH BLACK WRITING - TO A DEEPER ORANGE COLOURED LABEL WITH SILVER WRITING.  THIS LABEL ONLY LASTED A VERY VERY SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME AND WAS QUICKLY CHANGED AGAIN IN EARLY 1969.  AND THIS MAKES THIS LP SERIOUSLY RARE!!!!  BARELY ANY COPIES OF THIS LP WERE EVER PRESSED ON THIS LABEL AND IT IS ONE OF THE RAREST POSSIBLE PRESSINGS OF THIS LP EVER MADE!!!!  THIS IS THE ULTRA RARE 1968 UK ELEKTRA PRESSING ON THE MEGA RARE DEEP ORANGE ELEKTRA LABELS WITH SILVER WRITING, ORIGINAL 'PATENTS APPLIED FOR' INNER SLEEVE, AND ORIGINAL FULLY LAMINATED 'STICKERED' COVER!!!!  IT IS ALSO VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT THIS LP HAS THE CORRECT COVER FOR THIS PRESSING!!!!  BY 1968 WHEN THIS ULTRA RARE PRESSING WAS MADE - MONOS WERE VIRTUALLY DISCONTINUED AND ELEKTRA HAD A SURPLUS OF MONO COVERS.  AND SO THIS LP CORRECTLY COMES IN A FULLY LAMINATED MONO COVER WITH A 'STEREO' STICKER (WHICH HOW ALL STEREOS FROM THIS PERIOD CAME)!!!!  THIS LP IS ONE OF THE RAREST EVER PRESSINGS OF THIS LP AND ONLY LASTED AN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNT OF TIME - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS SERIOUSLY RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Elektra UK pressing from 1968 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is EKS 74007 on the ORIGINAL Elektra Label (see picture) and is a UK STEREO pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Doors at their best!!!! Any fan of The Doors, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 3 or 4 light hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO nasty loud pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear!!!!  The record must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 'patents applied for' inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press FULLY LAMINATED 'Stickered' Stereo Cover is in GREAT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear, a few creases (cover is still VERY flat looking) and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the LAMINATED back is in GREAT condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness and NO yellowing!!!!  There is NO splits, NO rips, NO tears, and NO staining!!!!  The cover must STRICTLY grade Very Good (maybe +) if not better!!!!  Basically this is still a GREAT looking cover and VERY flat looking - with only the few creases stopping a higher grading!!!! THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST POSSIBLE PRESSINGS OF THIS LP, AND ONLY LASTED A TINY AMOUNT OF TIME - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS EXTREMELY RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
