Description
Offered here for auction: A very rare THE DOORS self titled 1st album, EKL-4007, MONO, in pristine near mint condition, opened and played, but in original plastic. Flawless - see the scan. I rate my records visually, and this vinyl is clean and the outer cardboard sleeve is perfect. The previous owner was rather protective of his collection. He kept the outer cardboard sleeve in the plastic, removed the record itself from the paper inner sleeve, placed it in a protective plastic inner sleeve but also kept the paper sleeve! Needless to state further - this one's in great condition and the collector would find it impossible to find a better copy. Lesser copies have sold well on eBay recently in the $100+ range. The Goldmine Record Album Guide from 2001 estimates this at $200 for a NM copy, which this surely is. High bidder pays with either PayPal or money order/cashier's check and is responsible for actual media shipping costs and insurance, if desired. I will combine multiple wins for cheaper shipping. Please check out my current and future auctions for more vintage records from this collection, including many rarities and other interesting stuff.
