VERY RARE 7" PICTURE DISC OF DONNA SUMMER SPECIALLY PRESSED FOR AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL.

I BOUGHT THIS AT A RECORD FAIR MANY YEARS AGO AND WAS INFORMED BY THE SELLER THAT ONLY ONE COPY WAS EVER PRESSED OF EACH PICTURE!

I CAN'T PUT A DATE AS TO WHEN THEY WERE PRESSED BUT I VAGUELY REMEMBER BUYING THEM AROUND THE LATE 80's/EARLY 90's

 

PLEASE NOTE Both sides of the disc contain SPOKEN WORD extracts from an Amnesty conference and do NOT contain any music (Spoken word extracts are the same on both sides)

 

The main picture shows 'side A' and the 2nd picture shows 'side B'

 

The following information was taken from another web site:

 

"....Well over 10 years ago Amnesty International pressed
a highly limited edition set of commemorative 7" picture
discs to mark a conference being held at the time. The
set of discs featured many famous music icons of the time
including Leonard Cohen. The full colour picture disc does
not contain any music but rather spoken extracts from the
conference. The pressing was extremely limited (less than 10
copies per disc)...."
