Ted Heath & His Music – Our Kind of Jazz – Decca Records LK 4262 – Original UK Press mono LP 1958

Vinyl is in shiny VG++ condition with minimal spindle wear.

Jacket is in VG++ condition, with laminated flip-back sleeve intact, a small cat number in biro on top left corner, & sticker on top right hand back corner, slight discolourization to opening lip.

Top rare original British Jazz Album by featuring the heavyweight Sax players Don Rendell, Tommy Whittle, Ronnie Ross & Ronnie Scott, pianist/vibraphonist Stan Tracey and other cult players such as Harry Roche, Johnny Hawksworth, etc. Once again, some very progressive arrangements and track choices: one long track written by the Ronnie Roullier, ‘Ringside Suite” as well as an excellent piece written by Ken Moule (Adam’s Rib Suite) entitled ‘Waterloo Bridge’, and a great version of the classic ‘Taboo’ arranged by Johnny Keating. This is a highly scarce & obscure UK LP from 1959 in beautiful condition with outstanding artwork and music. I really cannot stress how unusual it is to find an album this old and rare in such wonderful condition. This really will be the finest copy you’ve ever seen!
